Our clear terms & conditions ensure that we both know where we stand.

By booking one of our services you accept these terms & conditions.

Payment

For individuals - you can pay via bank transfer or credit card. Your invoice will contain links to your payment options. We require payment in advance of services provided.

For companies – we take payment by bank transfer and ask for payment upfront, unless it’s for a long term engagement and we have agreed a different payment profile in advance.

To hold your first session, we require payment 2 working days in advance. If this has not been received we can not start your journey with Paddlefish Panda.

Discounts

Any special discounts will be valid for a limited time only, which will be outlined clearly to you.

Discounts cannot be applied in relation to any other offers.

Session Cancellation / Postponement

You may cancel or change your coaching session up to 48 hours prior to that session’s start time.

Cancelling or postponing within 48 hours of your next session will result in you losing the payment and benefits of that session.

IMPORTANT – Please always give 48 hours notice if changing your session times to avoid losing the value of your session. We love being flexible and working around your schedule, however, if inadequate time is given (less than 48 hours notice), we are left with an empty slot that could have been filled, with a loss to our business. This can easily be prevented. It’s also important to you that you prioritise your progress, often a key learning for coaching clients.

Should you wish terminate your agreement early, we will not refund you for the remainder of any ongoing engagement.

Ongoing session timings

We recognise that many of our clients work 9-5 and we do have some limited evening availability as well as time during normal working hours.

We encourage our clients to secure regular slots so that you get into a routine and so that your slot is reserved just for you. As some slots are popular, we suggest you engage with us as soon as possible and consider a number of timing options.

Until payment is received by new clients, these slots are not confirmed and can be lost to other clients.

Guarantees

The results you achieve, depend very much on you and your engagement, openness, effort and time investment in the process. Each client we work with is very different and so are the results achieved, so it would be irresponsible to offer you guarantees.

For context, while we don’t offer guarantees, we do give you 100% effort and skill.

Time

It is your responsibility to confirm the agreed session times and to be on time for each session.

Please note, if you are late, the session will still end at the originally planned time as other client engagements are also in the calendar.

Repeated lateness cannot be tolerated. To get the most from your coaching experience, we advice you are ready 15 minutes early to every session to prepare and ground yourself to get the most from that session.

Frequency + Expiry

Keeping momentum is key to the success. Frequency of coaching depends on the type of coaching you are undertaking. We recommend:

  • Channel swimming 1:1 coaching is 30 minutes per fortnight

  • ‘Get a life’ coaching programme is monthly

  • Flexible coaching works well on a monthly basis, often on a quarterly rhythm with one longer session and two shorter ones

  • Breakthrough sessions include three follow up coaching sessions on the subject matter of the breakthrough spaced monthly

  • Motivational maps can be repeated and this is not recommended until sufficient time has passed to allow changes to take place. This is likely to be 6 months


    Any remaining coaching sessions expire if unused after 6 months.

Privacy + 100% Client Confidentiality

All information you share with Paddlefish Panda, from the very first enquiry to any post-coaching feedback form is treated as private and confidential.

We have built our reputation on consistently dealing with highly sensitive information and ensuring our clients privacy is consistently protected.

We keep records of each session and these are kept securely and confidentially.

Come prepared for your sessions

Bring a notebook, pen, or digital tools if you prefer. We’ll send a summary of key points after your session.

Having your homework or actions completed and ready to discuss is important to keep progressing, this is your work as an accountable client.

We will likely share information with you via email and a shared Dropbox folder.

We expect you to hold yourself accountable, be active in the process and complete all agreed actions between sessions to get full value from your engagement. If these are not completed, we reserve the right to refuse any extensions to our agreement.

Ultimately, your success is based on your commitment, input and effort.
