This is a bit different to the more traditional therapeutic hypnosis where I direct the hypnosis. With a Sports Performance Hypnosis package we have 5 sessions. In the first session we’ll discuss the areas of sports performance that you would like to benefit from the most and I teach the client you how to do self-hypnosis. Examples areas of focus include:
Improved self efficacy (judgement of own ability)
Improved self-talk
Mental imagery
Feeling like you’re putting less effort in without actually changing workload
Creating a peak performance state
Increased muscular strength
Mobilise effort & strength on demand
Recovery & injuries
Create a sporting mantra
I’ll provide you with a tailored plan and give you example of where scientific studies have proven the efficacy of the approach. You’ll be given written information and guides that you can continue to use once our sessions are done. I will take you through all the materials and train you so that you can effectively use them.
A big bonus is that you’ll know how to do self-hypnosis which you can then go on to use in as many different ways as you see fit.
